The New York Times Newspaper (U.S) has been voted Quang Binh, Vietnam in the list of 52 world’s most attractive tourist destinations in 2014.

Accordingly, Quang Binh ranked eighth in top 52 of the world and the first in top 12 of the Asia.

The reason for this choice is that Son Doong Cave in the Quang Binh province is one of the world’s largest caves and is now, thanks to Oxalis Company (Headquarter in Phong Nha hamlet, Son Trach commune, Bo Trach district) opened adventure tours to Son Doong cave from August 2013.

The Son Doong Cave could fit a 40-story skyscraper within its walls, Visitors will be surprised by the massive rock formations with a diameter of up to 260m inside the cave.
Occasional collapses in the roof have allowed underground jungle ecosystems to form, a handful of trees over 100 meters high. In far distance, you can see its rich fauna and flora such as monkeys, hornbills and flying foxes.

Adventure tours to Son Doong cave will be four six-day and five-night tours each month. Tours will comprise a maximum of 220 visitors in year. The cost for each tour is USD $3,000 per a person.

According to Mr. Luu Dzung Le, Executive Director of Oxalis Company, thanks to information from the world’s major newspapers like The Guardian of UK, News of Australia, Business Insider and the New York Times of the United States that hundreds of tourists booked for tours to Son Doong cave. For ensuring safety and conservation in the tours, only 224 tourists will be permitted to Son Doong cave, the world’s largest cave in 2014
